If you are a victim of domestic violence, you have the right to be safe, regardless of your legal status in the United States. You may worry that you don’t have the right to call the police if you are being abused, but that is not true.
A number of important legal steps to gradual, legal U.S. residence are needed after a family petition or work visa.
Before you apply for naturalization, you must carefully determine whether you meet specific requirements. Depending on the individual’s situation, there are different requirements that may apply.
Typical reasons for removal from the U.S. are status violations, a criminal record, unlawful presence, prohibited unlawful entry and prohibited employment activity.
Sonia Parras carefully guides immigration clients through many types of family petitions, including those for spouses, parents and children, siblings, widowers and abused spouses of citizens and permanent residents.
Useful resources to be fully informed of everything necessary in immigration matters in the U.S.
